Day 2 :       SIEM REAP (B/L)
AM. Breakfast at hotel.
08.00h Sightseeing of Angkor Thom, Bayon, a massive cluster of towers carved with 216 faces of the 
Budhisattva. visit Phimaenakas, a 10^th century temple built by Jayavarman V ; Elephants Terrace, a 
viewing platform from which the kings of Angkor watched military processions and games ;Terrace of 
the Leper King, supposedly named after the founder of Angkor Thom whom legend says died of 
leprosy. See the Baphuon of the mid-11^th century dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva, from a distance 
as restoration work is still going on here.
PM. In the afternoon tour Angkor Wat was declared a world heritage site by the United Nations, and is regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Overnight stay at hotel.
